Sep 2025 - Echoes, a film starring Blaine as a retired NASA employee who picks up a strange message on his radio, was selected to screen at the Edmonton International Film Festival. Blaine, along with the director Logan Coutts were in attendance for the sold out screening and to walk to red carpet.
Sep 2025 - Blaine recently hit the red carpet for the world premiere of Coma-Phobia at the Filmmakers in the Foothills screening event. The film received a great reception by the professional adjudicators in attendance, as well as the enthusiastic audience.
Aug 2025 - Filming has started on the short film "Coma-Phobia", where Blaine plays the lead character of Dr. Alan Graye in this sci-fi thriller. The short film is set to make it's debut in September at the Filmmakers in the Foothills Festival.
May 2025 - The official trailer for the sci-fi short film Echoes has been released prior to its premier at the Okotoks International Film Festival. View the trailer HERE.
May 2025 -Blaine and the 105 team participated again in the Okotoks International Film Festival's 48hr Film Challenge. With the genre of Children's Program, they created the dark comedy Binky's Playhouse. The short went on to win the Viewers Choice award as voted on by the attendees.
Mar 2025 - Three Little Words won big at the Regional Competition winning 4 of 6 awards, with the big one being the Best Production. This means Blaine and the cast and crew will represent the Foothills at the Provincial One Act Competition in Medicine Hat, Alberta at the end of May.
Mar 2025 - Blaine is back again competing in the Regional One Act Play Festival as he plays the role of Cory in the original play, "Three Little Words". The 2 day competition will take place at the end of March.
Sep 2024 - Blaine was once again proud to be a part of the top awarded film at the 2024 Filmmakers in the Foothills Program! Blaine starred as Michael Barmin in the award winning short - Echoes. Congratulations to everyone involved in this film.
Jun 2024 - The 2024 Okotoks International Film Festival was a fun one for Blaine as he had 2 short films that showed during the event. The award winning The Doctor Will See You Now and the closing night 48hr film entry - Meet me at Midnight.
2024 - Blaine worked with a local Calgary photographer for a fun photo session that included standard headshot, along with some editorial shots. The photos can be seen HERE.
May 2024 - Blaine once again teams up with 105 Productions to compete in the Okotoks International Film Festival 48hr Film Challenge. This years genre - Murder Mystery. You can watch the finished film HERE!

Feb 2024 - Blaine is set to join the cast of August Heat, an original one act play. August Heat will be 1 of 11 shorts to compete in the One Act Play Regional Competitions in March. Blaine will play the character of Charles Withencroft in this early 1900's era play.
Sep 2023 - Meet Gabe...the Homeless Angel. Blaine has been cast as the lead in the Indie short film Coffee with Gabe. The short will have it's world premier in Sep at the Filmakers in the Foothills screening event.
Sep 2023 - The Doctor Will See You Now wins top award at the Filmmakers in the Foothills Program. Blaine was happy to star in this short film as The Doctor. Congratulations to the Director Eric (pictured with Blaine).
July 2023 - The 2023 Community Theatre Awards have been announced and productions Blaine has been in have received an amazing total 14 nominations in various categories. The Gardner - The Musical had 8 and The Full Monty received 6. The awards take place in Sep at Telus Spark.
May 2023 - Blaine joins the cast of the Post-apocalyptic adventure short film Awakening: the Orbs' Archive. Filming will take place in May and Blaine will play the part of Briefcase Receiver.
May 2023 - OneOhFive Productions raced against the clock to enter a short film in the Okotoks International Film Festival's 48 Hr Film Challenge. This year they were tasked with the genre of Courtroom Drama.
March 2023 - Blaine has been booked to join the cast of the upcoming World Premier of a new musical written and scored by Juno Nominee singer/songwriter Maren Ord. The Gardener - A Musical will make it's debut in April 2023.
October 2022 - Join Blaine every Thu at 8:00 on The Eagle 100.9 morning show as he becomes The Man About Town and shares exciting events going on for the weekend.
